Diwans Durbar Restaurant App

Diwan’s Durbar is the guest-facing Android app for a favourite Cochin restaurant, branded around “sumptuous yummy food” and online ordering. The home screen uses a colourful tile grid for Quick Delivery (about 30-minute promise), Today’s Specials, Menu Card / Full Menu, My Orders, and Gallery, set against warm interior photography of the dining space. Guests can browse menus and specials, review photos of the restaurant and events, then place takeaway or home-delivery orders within roughly a 5 km radius of Kakkanad so food arrives hot. Order history and status keep returning customers oriented without calling the front desk. I built the Android experience with Java, XML, and Retrofit — covering browsing, ordering, media, and Play Store release.
